It’s the season of giving and our CEO, Gary Brackett, knows that life is about making an impact through the work we do on a daily basis. Yesterday, the Brackett Impact Foundation delivered a holiday meal catered by Stacked Pickle to the neighbors of Horizon House (Indianapolis). HH is a daytime multi-service agency that coordinates services & provides counsel for the homeless. Their work is impactful, meaningful, and valuable to the community, and we are proud to have connected with the organization on this.
250 Neighbors Impacted
The event was successful in two important ways. First off, we served 250 neighbors a hearty meal featuring burger sliders, both bone-in & boneless wings, blackened chicken pasta, salad, breadstick, and more. Leftovers are stored for Horizon House to feed more neighbors over the next couple of days. Next, the Impact Foundation’s #StockTheLocker initiative changed lives. The foundation placed 28 kids in homes this holiday season with the help of Horizon House. The children were treated to gifts that were donated to the Brackett Foundation. Toy drop-off bins were placed at every Stacked Pickle location as well. A huge thank you to those who contributed to making this happen!
Tis The Season
While the holidays can be a bit commercialized with so many deals and offers being communicated, its nice to know that we are still truly in the business of doing great work in the community & impacting those who need it the most. Tis season of giving, and the Stacked Pickle is proud to be a part of this effort. We pride ourselves on “Legendary Service” and the work done yesterday is a true testament to that statement.
